Dermaplaning Treatments
An effective exfoliation treatment boosts skincare products’ effects through deeper product penetration while simultaneously making the skin feel and look smoother. Your makeup will look smoother and flawless without the fine layer of hair on the face, allowing light to refract from the skin more easily, creating an ethereal skin glow!
How Does Dermaplaning work?
Dermaplaning treatments
Dermaplaning uses a medical-grade surgical blade with short strokes to remove the surface layer of dead skin, debris, and hair. A single dermaplaning session can remove around 2-3 weeks of built-up dead skin cells and debris from your skin. Since the blade is held at a very precise angle and light, feathering strokes are used. There is no worry about scratching or piercing the skin making dermaplaning completely pain-free and non-invasive.
The technique may look similar to shaving, but it is much more effective because the blade being used can get right against the top layer of skin. The hair will not grow back darker because dermaplaning targets the vellus hair (peach fuzz) that comes back the same size and color. Also, the way the surgical blade cuts the hair does not create the illusion of thicker hair.
